Cong. Roilo Golez was one of several Members of the House of Representatives who attended the inaugural reception in Malacanang on June 30, 2010 on the occasion of the inauguration of the new President of the Philippines, His Excellency Benigno S. Aquino III. Others who attended were Congs. Timmy Chipeco, Boyet Gonzales, Bem Noel, Abby Binay, Janette Garin, Sonny Angara, Joel Villanueva, Arthur Robes, and Pedro Pancho.
