Congressman Roilo Golez was the guest speaker of the general assembly of the Hunters ROTC Guerillas sand the Sons and Daughters of the Hunters ROTC Guerillas during their celebration of the 68th Death Anniversary of their founder, Miguel Ver, PMA '43, who was killed in battle by the Japanese in their hide-out in the mountains of Antipolo, Rizal. Golez paid tribute to the valor and love of country of the Hunters ROTC guerillas who chose to fight the mighty Japanese Imperial Army, putting their lives on the line. Golez regretted that his generation was deprived the honor of serving their country the way the Hunters ROTC did during the Japanese occupation.
