Abaya, USNA '88, is reportedly one of those being considered for the position of Secretary, DILG. Cong Abaya is definitely more than qualified with his excellent academic record at Annapolis (one of the best among Pinoy grads), Naval Intelligence experience, three terms as a Member of the House of Representatives, Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations and Secretary General of the Liberal Party. He combines academic, public order, bureaucratic, administrative & political credentials for a possible assignment where those credentials are crucial. Let's pray that he is the one chosen for the good of the country.
