This is the speech of Cong. Roilo Golez before the Hunters ROTC Association, Inc., an association of the legendary, famous, brave and patriotic Filipino guerillas during the Second World War in the Rizal area. Many of their members were from Paranaque, then a town of Rizal.The gathering was to celebrate the 70th Death Anniversary of Hunters ROTC founder Miguel Ver who was killed in action in the mountains of Rizal in an encounter with the Japanese Army.
