That last major war, that the Chinese went was the Korean and Vietnam War. and it was against America and they managed to keep Americans at bay, while during the war with Japan was back when the country is divided, so if you are going to make statements about countries, you should keep your facts correct.
Your theory only works if the objective is to "sink" the adversary's country as you put it. If however the objective is to conquer, occupy, and annex territory, then you need boots on the ground. Fact is those million boots of the Chinese army wouldn't even step foot on deck before the very harbor facilities in which they anchor their measly naval forces were flattened. Marines still have to get to their target objective in order to be effective, and as for their air force... Migs? Please!
Exactly, modern war. The Chinese are outclassed,for it is understood that the PLA is far behind in modernity. Europe has had stealth technology many decades ago,while those chinamen barely developed their own. it is foolish to even think those orientals can stand a chance.
