From one of my Annapolis classmates. Confirming my long-held view and position that swarm tactics is the way to fight the Chinese navy: "I am always concerned that very small boats with hand-held devices can lie in wait for large naval vessels. These very small bath-tub sized boats would be very hard to detect on a moon-less or foggy night, I recall being in lots of fog where there was practically no visibility. This asymmetric attack is worrisome."
