With Sulu Sultanate Group surrounded and isolated, and the group not a threat to anyone except being a thorn to Malaysia's questionable Sabah ownership, it would be poor and injudicious crisis management if Malaysian forces would cause even a single drop of Filipino blood, or worse, loss of Filipino life in resolving the standoff. They can just use non-lethal dispersal methods or just starve the group to submission. Malaysians must demonstrate patience and compassion in dealing with citizens of a friendly ASEAN brother country.
