The photo sharing service Instagram has crossed a key milestone: 100 million monthly users.
In a blog post published Tuesday, Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom revealed more than 100 million people use the service to share photos every month.
"It's easy to see this as an accomplishment for a company, but I think the truth is that it's an accomplishment for our community," says Systrom.
The company has added 10 million monthly users since mid-January, when it announced it crossed the 90 million mark. Earlier this month, Instagram also revealed it would allow users to access photo feeds on the Web.
