Inamin kahapon ni Pangulong Benigno ‘Noynoy’ AquinoIII na ipinaalam sa kanya na ginamit ang National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) na nasa ilalim ng kanyang tanggapan (Office of the President) na conduit sa proyektong pinondohan ng Priority Development Assistance Funds (PDAF) o mas kilala sapork barrel.

“To be perfectly candid about it, there are so many functions embodied in their charter which I reviewed today; and I was not clearly aware or immediately aware that they were a conduit or an implementing agency for various PDAF projects,” pahayag ni Aquino sa ambush interview kahapon sa Palasyo ng Malacañang.

“So I want to get as thorough knowledge as possible and I have directed the concerned individuals na specifically …. at the same time the Secretary of Budget and Management and the Cabi­net secretary to submit to them a thorough report on this particular issue,” dagdag pa ni Aquino.

Una rito, lumabas sa report ng Commission on Audit(COA) na umaabot sa P514 milyong halaga ng porkbarrel ang ibinigay sa NCMF na nasa ilalim ng Office of the President.

Nabatid kabilang sa mga naglagak ng pondo sa NCMF ay sina Sens. Juan Ponce Erile at Gregorio Honasan kasama na ang may 38 incumbent congressmen at iba pang dating kongresista.

Sinabi ni Aquino na nais niyang makuha sa lalong madaling panahon ang report ng mga ahen­syang sangkot sa pag-implementa sa mga pork barrel ng mga mambabatas.

“Well, I told them I need it as soon as possible and I want it as thorough and as complete and as correct as possible. I want to make sure exactly what went to whom, and why was it coursed through the NCMF,” dagdag pa ni Aquino.
