Rejection isn't easy. But when it comes to applying to the top universities in the U.S., only a small percentage of applicants get that coveted acceptance letter.
StartClass, a higher education research site, examined data from the U.S. Department of Education, which produced a list of schools that admitted only 16 percent of applicants or fewer during 2014-2015. Yeah, that's a lot of disappointed seniors.
