Making big news is the nuclear powered US aircraft carrier Carl Vinson (CVN-70) which is now patrolling the South China Sea. I visited the Vinson in 2011 and am wearing this jacket with the Vinson patch. The Vinson's number, CVN-70, which means it's a nuclear aircraft carrier, coincides with my class year, Class of '70, at Annapolis (United States Naval Academy), that's why I love the '70 jacket. The Carl Vinson became famous as the Bin Laden carrier and was featured in the movie "Behind Enemy Lines"
