Roilo Golez meeting in Tokyo with Hon. Katsuyuki Kawai, Japan Member of Parliament and key adviser of Prime Minister Abe.
Our meeting was held in the Office of Prime Minister Abe. Mr. Kawai assured me that Japan is exerting efforts to restore the Japan-US-Philippines alliance. Have met with him twice in the Philippines on his invitation. He is shown in photo in June 2016 with then President Elect Duterte when he paid his respects on behalf of PM Abe. Later, he Hon. Kawai accompanied PM Abe during the recent Davao visit. Photo shows Mr. Kawai in a fist bump with President Duterte and PM Abe. I also attached a copy of my photo with Mr. Kawai when we met in Manila last year June after his call on then President Elect Duterte. Japan is helping us a lot and Mr. Kawai is one of those helping through PM Abe.
