XI ON CHINA'S ARTIFICIAL ISLANDS IN THE SOUTH CHINA SEA, HIGHLIGHTED IN HIS COMMUNIST PARTY CONGRESS SPEECH.

XI ON CHINA'S ARTIFICIAL ISLANDS IN THE SOUTH CHINA SEA:
In his 205-minute speech in the Communist Party Congress, China President Xi Jinping highlighted the construction of the artificial islands in the South China Sea. XI DID NOT MENTION THAT THOSE ISLANDS WERE DECLARED ILLEGAL BY THE INTERNATIONAL ARBITRAL TRIBUNAL.
CALLED CHINA’S BUILDING OF ARTIFICIAL ISLANDS IN THE SOUTH CHINA SEA A HIGHLIGHT OF HIS FIRST FIVE YEARS: "BUT Mr. Xi also took a hard line on some issues. Near the start of his report, he called China’s building of artificial islands in the South China Sea a highlight of his first five years, despite the fact that they have raised tensions with other Asian countries, and the United States Navy."
