The Charge of the Valiant Forty Four SAF Men (A Parody)

Almost a month has passed since these valiant men gave their lives for dreams much stronger than death. Yet to this date all those responsible are finger pointing! The Commander in Chief should now assume the main responsibility if he should continue to get the respect of this nation. No more cover ups please! People kept on refering to them as the FALLEN FORTY FOUR, but for me these brave men are THE VALIANT FORTY FOUR SAF MEN. In a parody of Sir Alfred Tennyson's enduring poem..."The Charge of the Light Brigade"... To you Valiant Men of the SAF my firm salute!

1.

Half a wit, half a wit,

Half a wit Leaders
Into the cornfields of death

The cowards sent them!
Into Mamapasano secretly they went
"Go get Marwan" they said:
Into the cornfields of Death

Marched more than three hundred.

2.

"Forward, the SAF men went"
With no coordination ever made,
And the commanders tried to lie

Their main leaders blunder'd:
Their mission kept secret
Only fake leaders knew,
But still they were ready to die:
Into the cornfields of Death

Marched more than three hundred.

3.

MILF to right of them,
BIFF to left of them,
Marwan in front of them

Cannon'd and snipper'd;
Storm'd at with advanced weapons,
Boldly they stood and fought,
Inside the corn straws of Death,
Inside this "box" called Hell

Battled more than three hundred.

4.

Flash'd all their guns in darkness,
Flash'd as they sought a terrorist,
Battling the snipers there,
Killing the bomb expert, while

All the world were asleep:
Trapped in their exit plan
Right into the enemies lair;
Under a ceasefire they were attacked
Until their ammos have run dry

Butcher'd at point blank
Some three hundred cowards ran, but not

Not the Forty Four brave men!

5.

Inquiries were made about them,
Blaming and finger pointing done,
On who actually ordered them?

Voices thunder'd in Senate;
And clowning in Congress went,
While forcing the Commander to tell,
Who ordered his SAF men to hell?
It was my call he tried to lie
But the whole world know damn well
In Malacanang were four of them,

Who sent the more than three hundred.

6.

Who should the blame thus fall?
From this crazy charge they made!

All the people cried and mourned.
Honored the sacrifice they made,
Honored the Valiant Forty Four,

The Noble SAF 44.

7.

But blame the top leaders they won't!
But blame the top leaders we must!
Resign or impeached or hanged they should!

Let the wimps face on to their lies
Let these cowards tell the truth
Never will there be peace without justice,

For the Forty Four Valiant SAF men!
